ISM 209: Knowledge Services and Data Analytics
Provides students with the systematic methodology and analytical tools to address the field of knowledge services in an integrated manner. Focuses on data, text, and business analytics. Includes training in the basic elements of stochastic optimization and other algorithmic approaches, such as stochastic dynamic programming, statistics, and machine learning. These methods enable corporate enterprises to acheive rapid, effective, and profitable optimization of knowledge-services management. Students are expected to have undergraduate preparation in probability and statistics. Undergraduates may enroll with instructor approval. Enrollment restricted to graduate students. R. Akella
